EDIT: Reviving this thread now that the event is here. I actually liked it a lot! I won't talk a lot about the specifics. I only went through the first photoshoot because I will make myself wait so I can take it slower and have something to look forward so if you want to talk about other days please put it on spoiler. I could spend hours taking pics of them, they are sooooo cute. It kinda sucks that I know all the items bc you unlock them with time and I wish I could be surprised lol I will keep this in mind for other events and avoid spoilers.

so, I can barely contain myself with the expectation for the wedding event, so I gave in to temptation and I saw a video by MayorMori today talking about what the dataminers found out about the event. Video is here.
Basically:
- Cyrus and Reese will ask you to decorate a room based on a theme, probably same themes as Label when she asks you to model for her;
- You will receive heart crystals for it, which you can trade for furniture (or receive diy to craft with them);
- Some items are unlocked when you do a certain number of photoshoots.

I'm not sure what I feel about this. But it sure doesn't look lame like other events. HHD is back I guess. Thoughts?

There's enough pink stuff in the game, plus I can't work Harvey's island out.

A million icons on the screen and no real instructions on what to do.

I managed to take one photo and it was a total fluke.

I'm just happy it's something more interactive than the last few events. It's a really nice set with, thankfully, different color options. Going to stock up on the Chic and Garden variations, the flower wall decorations especially.

yeah I am happy it's something longer with more interaction and content. I wonder if it's going to get too grindy though. I love the colors, I wasn't giving much attention to the items until someone pointed out to me that there are variations.

I’m actually really pumped for this but I seem to be one of the few who likes the items from it, oop. I think they’re more versatile than everyone seems to believe! And I’m happy to have the cutest AC couple back for a bit~

The wedding stuff doesn't look nearly as saccharine as I expected so I am in. Harvey's island is more of a interior design lab for me than anything else but I'll muddle through whatever task is required to get the goods. Hyped!

I've been so excited for the wedding event! I wanted to do a cute animal crossing themed promise wedding to surprise my girlfriend for our anniversary (not an actual wedding, nor an actual proposal, but more of a "I promise I'll be with you forever" type beat). I'm going to grind the heck out of this event!

Plus, I love Reese and Cyrus! I'm so excited to have them back!

While it's not really something I'd use myself (besides the wallpapers maybe), the items from this event are really nice! It's nice you can do it any time during the month to keep it from getting too repetitive or feeling like you have to grind.

i'm excited about basically any and all new events we get because... well it's new!
and i've made a little "event" area on my island that i swap items in and out of (currently it's still "earth" themed) so even if i don't end up using the items for decoration elsewhere (which i'm sure i will) at least i have a designated space where i can get display them!

I'm very excited for it, just because the items look great in their color variations! If it was just pink, while nice... Ehh. But I'm in love with the chic and garden variants.

As for the actual event, it'll be something new to add to my routine, so it's hard to complain about that. Though I'm sure people will
