Split Decision: Design Differences for Town Hall, Train Station

In my second town of Progress, I just received a Perfect Town rating.

Along with the Town Hall, I also have unlocked the upgrade option for the Train Station.

In my first town, Applewin, I have the Fairy-Tale theme. In Progress, my initial thought was to go with Zen. But given that I will choose the Police Station with Copper (when that time comes), and that the atmosphere doesn't feel slanted strongly toward one theme, I thought it may be interesting to use both Zen and Modern for upgrading the Town Hall and the Train Station.

I invite people to check out Progress in a Dream Address to say which one should be Modern and which one should be Zen. (That Dream Address is now listed in my signature in "Town #02.")


Has anyone else, here at The Bell Tree Forums, selected more than one theme for their Town Hall and Train Station? (If "yes," are you glad you did?)

I don't have either of those upgrades unlocked, but out of curiosity, do you mean a hybrid double-theme town or to have 2 different sections of your town each have their own theme?

Yes, at least, I plan to. I don't know whether I'm happy or not as the plan hasn't been fully executed.

I'm going to find out as well. I have to decide, as mentioned in the opening posting, on the "Split Decision" between the Train Station and the Town Hall. But I do look forward to giving it a go. I can always change them back. I can say that the only "Split Decision" Dream Addresses I have visited, thus far, are ones for players who kept either the Train Station or Town Hall in its original design. (In most cases, it was likely due to not having accessed upgrade options for one of the two.) And I think, once I implement this, I can just consider Progress and eclectic blend.
