Well do we know what spyke is based off? If we do, we could find out what he preys on and that would give the answer as to which theory is correct. XD

So, Even though we won more game, we lost because we weren't as popular? That is complete abd utter bull****. It should based on wins, and the popularity should have been a tiebreaker if both team performed equally.

To be fair, the win percentage was worth twice as much as the popularity percentage. (Team Cat would have needed a 57% Win Percentage to beat Team Dog, based on the popularity percentages.)

I don't think it's fair to take actual popularity into account other than a tie breaker though. If one side gets enough votes the Splatfest winner could be decided from the start if it's popular enough, even if that side really sucked.

So I'm back on Splatoon. XDD Though I got seriously ticked off with the team I just had. It was me and one guy doing all the work while the other two spent there time painting around our spawnpoint and painting the damn tree next to it on Urchin Underpass.... I internally screamed at them to get their butts moving.... Useless people. I feel sorry for whoever is matched with them next. :/
 
I'm a little tired of seeing team cat being salty on every splatoon forum. Sigh, I mean yeah it sucks that we won based on votes, and i think its pretty awesome how well you guys did when you were so much smaller, but come on already.

They aare allowed to be salty. It is garbage that dogs won based on popularity. The gamewas literally decided from the beginning.

Not quite. If they had 6% more wins, they would've taken it. Wins mattered a lot more than popularity and our percentages were pretty close as it was.
 
But they didn't, which is why they are ticked. It's understandable. It would be the same if team cat had more votes and team dog was complaining. Team dog members would also complain which I think is justified in either case.
It is stupid to have votes count as the score

Yeah, I just saw the results and was severely disappointed. I thought it was impressive team cats pulled the most wins despite its lack of popularity, but in the end it lost because more people decided to represent dogs. I'm pretty sad they'd count votes that way.

Team Dog just had this in the bag, Dogs are the best MEMERS and best FRIENDS.

In conclusion: Team Cats bathed in Salt water and lots of it!

the saltiness from me is more of a show lmao. It doesn't bother me that dogs won, it's just me and Zig have this weird friend-enemy thing going on. :lemon:

So if the team that already had the better win ratio did even better than they already did? That sounds pretty unfair.



I'll be surprised if 'Pop' hasn't already won based on votes alone since I imagine them heavily outweighing 'Rock'. I may as well stop playing now if that's the case since I'm destined to be on the losing side and have been since the start.
