It's not like they won by a huge lead, plus wins are doubled. It's not as impressive if Cats won because almost half of our team's matches didn't count due to the influx of Dog. The matches should still have been 4v4. If this was a full out war where eerypne participated, we would have a huge edge. Obviously, to make it "fair", they changed the set-up. Plus, if there were more mediocre players on our team than good, it was more likely that Cat would face them and leave our good players' matches not counting.
Although, it was close, so good games to everyone.

Someone please explain what the allure of the Splash-o-matic is when it has the exact same stats as the Splattershot Jr. but with a lower damage rate. Is it just because of the Bomb Rush? Really?
Then explain how they often have the range of a Splattershot Pro. I NEED EXPLANATIONS FOR THIS STUFF.

The bomb Rush is fun, and IMO the suction bombs are the most useful bombs. I can usually kill people very quickly with the splash-o-matic so lower damage rate isn't a problem. (Also it looks like a pen so there's that
)
Conspiracy time: The results were actually a tie (when rounded to whole numbers) so to break it they flipped a coin and it landed on Cats. Because only giving them a point would leave the total at 99% or 101%, they had to make it a difference of two to have a possible score percentage.
On a more serious note, the whole event itself was really off. Like I already said, it was almost just like the demo except with and extra map and weapons. The fact that we're forced into it, can't play other modes, can't play with friends, and the maps don't even rotate (what is honestly a good reason to only use 3 maps for 24 hours?) is ridiculous. I understand it could be to keep everyone participating instead of having empty lobbies everywhere, but sill, there would probably be SOME people to start matches.

God. Even though we had 3 maps I kept getting Walleye over and over and now I cant even stand it.
I still love walleye and I have played it so much.
I do however own a hatred for port mackerel that is stronger than ever before

When my team's good then I don't mind port mackerel so much.

Super Sea Snails. I expected as much, but I was hoping they'd give away some special gear or something. The snails is kind of a lame prize by itself.

Well considering it was one of the very first Splatfests, there's obviously room for improvement. I'm sure they'll take into account everything that happened and make changes for the future events. And as for the maps not changing... well, Callie and Marie were singing the whole time, be it in battle or in the hub. Do you really think they had time to announce map changes?

I swear there was this laggy Splash user who stood around for a moment before throwing literally EVERY BOMB in one throw and they all landed in one big arc around them. They all exploded at once and the room nearly crashed.
