Hey guys, can someone answer my question for scrolls on single player? ;u;
so I've beaten single player and turned level 20 already, but I'm missing like 5 scrolls in single player mode, can I get the scroll, exit the level, and it will save? Or do I have to actually complete the level for the scroll to be saved? I really don't want to go halfway through it for the scroll and exit, just to have to redo the full lvl (even tho it doesn't take long) I'm not on right now to test it out.
p.s I'm also starting to enjoy ranked for some reason. inb4 lose streak

That's what I was thinking, but was hoping for a shortcut/didn't want to do it if it wasn't needed lmao. Thank you though, I'll just do the full levels for the remaining ones since it's quick.

I'm also starting to enjoy ranked as well. Once I got to B- rank it felt more like I had some sort of impact on the wins and losses rather than one team just significantly wrecking the other. Especially when I ditched the Aerospray and went for a Charger! I'm almost at B+

Went for some evening online Splatoon sessions and the lag is going pretty strong on half of my matches. Apparently, their netcode is very similar to that of Mario Kart 8, and I can tell you it's not exactly great when it comes to dealing with someone who thought that bringing their shoddy Internet Connection is a brilliant idea.
In all of the Turf War matches that involved at least one player with a bad Internet Connection, the game seems to favor the team that the guy is in. Not only there are occasions when ink took a long while to register, but there are also instances where the hit detection took a huge toll. For example, I got ran over by a Roller who isn't even remotely next to me when that happened on my screen. There are also times when I hit in the nothingness and I apparently splatted someone without knowing it beforehand.

^This. All night I've been getting splatted through walls and by rollers going in the completely opposite direction. Plus yeah none of my ink was registering for a super long time while everyone else was firing away. Then of course can't forget about splatting someone and then their grave starts randomly firing.
There was also a time where I was being shot in the face and it said: "Splatted by Inkstrike!" ...what?!

Best is when you follow another roller and their ink runs out, and you just bowl over them and keep going.

I never learned how to do this. People roll over me all the time but whenever I use a roller I never squish anyone! I never manage to fling ink at anyone either.
I love sneaking up on people with the Ninja Squid skill, especially on Port Mackerel. I'll hide behind a crate and they'll run past, then I shoot them from behind. xD
Funny thing is everyone always somehow knows where I am when I'm a squid? I don't know how they do that.

Literally if you push the roller into someone it splats them. xP It's pretty easy, though lag can screw you up if they're not actually standing in the place you see them. Also a lot of people are wise to this, so you have to get a bit mind-gamey on them sometimes to get close enough.
Ink flicking isn't guaranteed to take someone out everytime, but it can do. 2 good hits in a row with the ink spray nearly always does the job.
And same, I find I'll turn into a squid and hide in some corner to refuel and someone will shoot right at me 10 seconds later. And I'm usually pretty sure an echolocator hasn't been used. S:

Really? I've tried doing that but all that happened was I pushed them around and then they splatted me... and kept on going. xD I couldn't even figure out how to fling the ink at first omg.
Right? I'll just be swimming along minding my own business when suddenly there's open fire right on my location. I always get so mad and this and start yelling because they can't know I'm there. There's just no way. I could understand if you saw me dive and found out where I was but I'm talking I swim from respawn area to a zone without rising and I get bombed. I don't leave the ripples and I'm pretty sure my name doesn't pop up above me since I know for a fact I can't tell when other people are submerged. It's probably the thing that irritates me the most.

People can see you swimming in the ink because it ripples. Btw, does anyone know whether the teams option is for splat zones or turf wars?

The scope chargers aren't that good although I see alot of people using them. I just find them so slow at aiming if people are swimming through ink. I don't bother climbing along the crates, I get irritated that I cant shoot ink on them to refill :/

Nah I mean like people will target where I'm hiding. They somehow know I'm there and rush me. Not like spraying ink all over.
Nope, I have the Ninja Squid skill on my hoodie (main skill even) that prevents any ripples or anything.

True true lol I just wish I could get some decent gear with a defense stat for once. That ghost jump really helps though.

I literally did the same thing, dropped the aerospray and used a charger won a few and got to B-
And thennn I lost a few at underpass. But i do better with certain weapons on certain maps. The mall would be Jet squelcher, underpass would be aerospray, and port mackeral would be charger (which i got like 7 times in a row today) I stopped doing rank for today bc I started a losing streak after all that ;u;
Maybe tomorrow I can start another winning streak and get to B+ as well xD
