I dun have it. I was just looking at the splatoon hashtag and it came up. You could always try searching it :x
 
I feel like if someone asks me if I'm a kid or a squid, I'll say I'm an octopus. :3

Yeah there's a feature for that. I think it's under the Turf Wars selection.
 
You can join a friends game but thats assuming there is a spare space in the public room they are in.

I think manually making a room or whatever starts in August so then you can have friendly games

I sure would Azza. I'd like to try and play with people I know but chances are tomorrow will be our best shot as a lot of kids will be at school
 
I'm going to be playing hopefully most of the afternoon. I have family up for this week, so I won't be able to go on it fully until Sunday, but I can probably get a few hours out of it over the first two days. And there's also the fact that I have work tomorrow morning, so I may even miss my game arriving XD

And I don't think that is an option. It could be, but it's doubtful.

Aww that's gotta hurt :/ Thank god for me tomorrow is a pupil free day which is also coincidentally the release day :p
 
Turf Wars get boring after about 2-3 hours because of the terrible decision to only have 2 stages at once to have a battle on for 4 hours at a time. Like don't get me wrong it's not the actual game which gets boring but it's gets old only having the 2 optiosn to play in for a 4 hour period.

That being said it's fun to start as a beginner and watch the other people you play matches with grow with higher levels and the weapon changes occurring along with your growth. It's cool to see!

But yeah it's shame single player is short because I basically used it as my respite when I got tired of Turf Wars being in the same 2 areas. I wish it were longer D:

Halfway to level 10 as of right now :D
 
I have my Splatoon + Inkling Squid Special Edition sitting on my bed in my room, but I am not unboxing it until I see the condition of the second Splatoon + Inkling Squid Special Edition that I should be receiving sometime tomorrow. The less-pristine conditioned one gets unboxed.

The same goes for the Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl amiibo... I have yet to receive any of those, but when I do. I will have two of each Inkling amiibo including the Squid. I will also be inspecting these amiibo boxes for the same reason as the game boxes above.

When mine arrives, I'm just ripping that **** right out of the packaging.




I'll rip into that **** so fast, the box will have a pair of bloody stumps attached to it which used to belong to the postman.

Yup. Has a single player section/story mode. Though if I recall, there isn't much of a story per say, just fun stuff to do offline. I think the plot around story mode thickens a bit if you actively go to search for the 'sunken scroll' that is in each level. I'm not sure how thick it gets though XD
