I actually believed it right away.

Despite it being sucky for anybody who won't get the special edition at all because of this, I still find it pretty hilarious that somebody stole a truck of Splatoon.



At least this proves that people are hyped for the game.

Someone needs to make a graphic image with a getaway car with lots of Inkling Squid amiibo...

You could say, GAME lost more a few Squid today... (The amiibo and discounting the prices)

But I looked around the internet after cancelling BOTH of my Squidless Splatoon orders and I have managed to find these alternative options.

It just means that they will not be selling the special edition, but they will be discounting the standard edition preorders instead. Not that it is really helpful for people who really wanted the elusive Inkling Squid amiibo, of course...

I kinda want to know how elusive these things really are.

I mean, as soon as this happened people were just pre-ordering it elsewhere straight away without much trouble, so it can't be THAT hard to get, can it?

It can be THAT hard to get from GAME... now anyway...
 
Someone just posted a picture on instagram of a turf war score as they got the game early.

She played 3 japanese players- 1 already at level 10, the others at level 8...

Oh yes... Everyone who preordered from GAME... Your Splatoon + Inkling Squid amiibo will now be available at CeX.

Except Cex is all preowned games, so no dice there if you want it for release. But I imagine one Cex will have like 10,000 copies next week. xD
 
I had no interest when it was announced back at E3 2014.


A lot can change in a year, no?
 
Gamexplain started streaming the game like 3-4 ish hours ago and just beat the final boss in single player
