Hello and welcome to Spin Cycle, the villager-cycling thread!
Note* Villagers are not really thrown into a washing machine set on spin cycle.
This is both my first Cycling thread and my first time cycling so please bare with me. I do not pretend to be an expert at this so I deeply apologize if I make a few mistakes and happen to void villagers you want accidentally. I got an extra ACNL game from a friend and wanted to turn it into a cycling town, so here I am! I have my main copy too and I will be giving villagers away on that one as well, however it will be much slower as I will not be doing any TTing on that game. Anyway, here we go!
MY RULES:
Lots of 'em.
1. I DO NOT DO RESERVATIONS.
I always see this as the #1 rule in every cycling thread so I figure its probably a good idea that I do it too just in case it wasn't obvious. No exceptions.
2. Villagers are on a first-come-first-serve basis. HOWEVER, dreamie proof gets priority.
If a user without dreamie proof posts before a user with dreamie proof, the user with dreamie proof will get the villager even though they posted second. I will give you 15 minutes to make room in your town after claiming a villager. Villagers can only be claimed once they are in boxes. Villagers will typically get 20 minutes to be claimed, but higher tier villagers will get more time and I'll occasionally just leave for a while and check back later.
3. I can PM you when a villager you want is in boxes, provided that you ask me to or if I think you've been waiting long enough.
I will not however hold the villager for you until you reply, it will still be given away first-come-first-serve.
4. Running and trampling flowers is NOT allowed in my main town of Tailwood.
Running and trampling flowers IS allowed in my town of Cycling, however, as the town is for cycling only.
5. Villagers listed as dreamies in my siggy are not available to be claimed.
I get first dibs.
6. Dreamie Proof is required for all Tier 1 and Tier 2 villagers.
Dreamie Proof includes: Siggies, Avatars, etc! HOWEVER, if a villager is about to be voided, I can ignore this rule and I will post letting everyone know when im accepting non-dreamie proof. If you post first without dreamie proof, and another person posts right after you with dreamie proof, the person who posted second will get the villager.
7. Please only ever ask for a villager if you plan on keeping them.
I ask that you not get my villagers to make a profit off of my own findings when this is a free service. Claiming a villager for a friend or relative is okay, however. Claiming a villager is also okay if you plan on just trying them out, but I ask that you please be courteous and let the ones that want them the most have them.
8. As of now, no villager will be put on auto-void.
Every villager gets a chance!
9. I have the right to decide to auction a villager.
I will probably decide to auction off the first Marshal or Merengue I get as a matter of fact, so just a heads up. I've never been good on bells but after one of those I probably wont have to do it again, at least for a while.
10. I have the right to flip off the wi-fi switch if any funny business goes on.
No trampling the flowers in Tailwood, don't take my perfect oranges in my Cycling town without permission, etc.
11. If you ask a question that is clearly stated here in the rules, Im going to blatantly ignore you and send you to the dry cleaners. Read the rules.
Questions regarding rules, however, are welcome.
