Pretty much the thread title. I've finally done it. I did a lot of renovation, and overall I'm glad I did it. Of course, just sitting around all day probably wasn't the best idea, but my town looks slightly better in result. Now my eyes hurt any time I look at a screen, and I want to just lie down.

So, have you ever done this? If so, how did it make you feel? Proud? Tired? Or have you never did this but want to try it out?

I appreciate all opinions shared :)

...What else have you been doing lately?

Lol, I pretty much have my Switch on all day, picking it up and setting it down as I'm also on the computer and watching TV. I usually exercise a bit (though a bit less lately, this weather just kills me knees) but otherwise that's my day these days. Things will -hopefully- change once I'm back at work, though I'm pretty content as is 😂

I have personally never done this, but I am guessing a lot of others have done this especially on the release date or the days following.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with doing this, but I probably would not be able to as I would probably get a headache and bit of nausea after so many hours.

I did this a lot except without the making my island look beautiful part :lemon:

I like to build random stuff on my island, and then tear it down a week later to put something new in its place, so my island has never really been 'finished' so to speak. While I don't have an amazing island, I've found that I get more satisfaction from just experimenting and messing around with ideas.

Honestly, I typically get on and off throughout the day, but recently I just never put it down. I play other games on the switch like Splatoon 2, Ninjala, and Pokemone Cafe. With the whole pandemic thing I haven't really been getting out much. I do miss socializing though 😅

Oh, my island is definitely not beautiful, lol. But I like the idea of changing this out a lot. That keeps the game interesting!

I've done this a couple of times, and while i don't regret it (terraformed some really nice areas!) i hated how i felt after an entire day of sitting around staring at a screen ;;u;;

I used to do this all the time in City Folk. Haven't done it in New Horizons yet, since nowadays it gets depressing when I've only done a single thing for an entire day.

I did that the day I unlocked terraforming. I literally played from 9am to 10pm, and it was amazing. My eyes started hurting after a while though, and I got ‘screen fatigue’ if that’s a thing. I felt kind of ashamed afterwards, but I was also really happy with what I had done.

I’ve petered off of going on all day (for the most part) but since we’re still in a decent amount of quarantine and my normal summer schedule is thrown off entirely I tend to go on for quite a bit still.

I have never done this before. Even after two hours, my eyes get a little tired and I most likely did the things I need to do for that day. Maybe not in one sitting but I can say throughout the day with hours between those play sessions.

I actually feel like I have been doing this more and more. I feel like I'm finally getting a design sense so I have been spending more time decorating! I usually don't play games all day, so even though it sucks having to stay inside its been really fun and relaxing.

I did it before in NL and NH and my opinions on it are mixed, some good and some bad.

I can't look at screens for more than a couple of hours at a time or else I get a migraine headache! I probably wouldn't push myself that hard to play all day, but I'm sure many others have! In the beginning, when I saw all of these amazing towns, I couldn't help but wonder how many hours they grinded non-stop trying to get that one fish or that one statue, it hurts my head just thinking about it. I think I'm gonna lie down now 😔

Being stuck all day in my house and no job due to being lay off and staying home as my family like me to stay home as i share a house with my elder father. So Playing All day in the game and meeting those in other Timezone is fun. At how i meet a good friend. She Allow me to catlog items and see Celeste before she go to bed. I Get a lot of fish and bugs catch.

I don't really play animal crossing any other way. I play all day and still don't accomplish much but I have a great time doing a whole lot of nothing.

I did this when this game first came out. Of course that's not as bad as when I first rented Animal Crossing for the GameCube. I played all day long. Then I went to bed and woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning and continued to play. But I don't play very long now. The max is probably 2 hours depending on what I'm doing.
