hi everyone,

i bought two ACNL guides at the yodobashi store in akihabara when i was there last year may. it was before acnl was released in europe, so i was really excited and could dream about the game before owning it! (before you ask...i didn't buy a jp 3ds + ac jump out because... i cannot read japanese)

anyway!
in one of the guides, it has a page on space requirement for projects and buildings. i don't know if it's been put online yet, (on japanese online animal crossing communities it probably has) but i haven't seen something like it around, so i thought i might as well just share it on this forum... because i like you all so much.

most are pretty obvious, but the space requirement for the roost is kind of peculiar, it's because of the silly plants and sign in front which also take in space. i didn't write down every pwp, just some examples. oh and yep it says villager's houses, instead of villagers' houses... too lazy to fix it though sorry :^S

i hope this can help someone! :-*

edit: as i said, i cannot read japanese, so this is not a translation unfortunately, but it's not really difficult to make sense out of so...

edit 2: ignore "town hall" there; town hall needs more space in front because of the pavement.

Where can that guide be found? It also has awesome hybrid guides

Does it say anything about bridges?

ah, no... i cannot find anything that looks like it (text or images). you'll just have to find out yourself i guess :^( did you demolish your bridge already, or are you looking for more info?

well... i bought it in tokyo, but i don't know... they possibly sell it online too?

That doesn't look like the Perfect Guide Book (とびだせ どうぶつの森 かんぺきガイドブック) I have, is that the design book with the soft cover or one of the design books in the 3 part series? Or is it a completely different book, I'd love to buy that one and add it to my collection. xD

Thank you! That just sealed the deal. とびだせ どうぶつの森 かんぺきガイドブック only has a small section for that, but I always want to see what things look like. vwv I remember someone saying that the design book had a nicer section for that.

yes, it's really nice to see beforehand! this book also has a great hair guide in it! there are many hair guides online... but this one is so pretty, i prefer to use the book over internet :^)
