In my most humble of humble opinions, the show was a lot funnier during the first few seasons. u_u

Chef "died" in the show because he quit. He was offended about the Scientology episode (Which several were, in fact Tom Cruise said he wouldnt promote Mission Impossible 3 unless something was done. Comedy Central ended up having to say, ok we wont air it anymore, and everyone was cool with it. But now they still air it lol)

Anyways, Issac quit the show, and after the Scientology episode was the Super Adventure Club episode where he died. They also made mention of Chef in the first part of Cartoon Wars in season 10 when Kyle says "I got advice from an old friend" Everyone just smiled, but it was a reference to Chef. Now that Issac Hayes has passed they can never bring him back, because they always did leave that door open.
