yeah. ofc i think the switch version is better too, or else why would i want those items when i can play acpc instead (but i dropped it a long time ago). still, they just get such interesting items.

might take ACNH 3 years, pocket camp took that long to get content, but that kind of logic is flawed if you ask me. pocket camp was free and i feel like they were testing the waters during the start, so of course it was meant to have little content with updates after a while. until the creators realized they can make more money via the leaf tickets and kept releasing content to keep the game alive LOL

How awesome would it be if we got new items in NH as often as Pocket Camp releases them Also that game has stuff like earrings and staircases and villagers interracting with things and I can't believe an actual console game doesn't!

Mobile and console market are both different things.

Honestly, mobile games tend to become profitable because there's a constant cash flow for every release or update. Meanwhile, people tend to go berserk if Nintendo releases a paid update in the console version. At the end of day, there's a reason why the mobile version gets all the latest innovations. It rakes more money by people paying in small transactions rather than having to pay for the game once and receive free updates as time goes by.

right. they get so much updates. i remember being overwhelmed lol. unfortunately, it's because those items on pocket camp you can get via leaf tickets which would require irl money or hard work grinding in-game. i don't remember spending my money on pocket camp, i just save my leaf tickets & learned to spend it with what i really want.

i feel like most of us are aware of pocket camp being a mobile market. it's like it's in my mind, even without anyone saying it to me, as i *played* pocket camp & know how frustrating it is to even get the items from the game. so you can imagine they wouldn't just add it for free in new horizons.

that saying, it's just that the negativity that comes with people who cockblocks people who ask for cool items. if you don't want it, don't get it...but most probably they will enjoy those items when it gets added lol. we're not hurting anybody for *dreaming* such cool items to be added, even if it's a different version as the designers are different.

Honestly at this point I'd be happy with the PC wigs as NH items. The angel, fairy and bat wings too. Imo they ruined the fairy dress by painting those tiny wings onto them.

Haha I guess I'm getting old, as a kid I used to think of mobile games as just a worse cheaper version of console games. It's weird how now they literally have features people are wishing for in the main game.

Yeah I understand it's a business thing, I guess I don't expect them to keep adding a ton of items for free (even though lots of people think the game came with a limited amount) but at least to have the features the phone game has? I don't think it's that hard, but I guess they want to keep people playing Pocket Camp. Kind of a sad situation.

Also they did say they would provide updates for ~3 years so I kind of expected some more furniture with that. But time will tell!

I thought the same since I remember people going crazy for the wings when they first showed up. They knew we loved them.

As long as Pocket Camp lives I don't think we'll see the main games evolve too much, sadly. Nintendo doesn't want people to ditch it.

What's worse is that app does what ACNH needs. Quality of life, and Pocket Camp has hundreds of that.

It's basically the exact same with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Mario Kart Tour.

I didn't like Pocket Camp as much but I really wish we'd get more Pocket Camp items in the game. Maybe they could make it like the fortune cookie cart and require you to link your accounts to unlock. I just want to chill and drink bubble tea with my villagers.

It's totally clear that people pay for stuff on PC so they're higher priority than those getting the free "updates" on NH.

Ooh, I would love to be able to sit on the ground next to our villagers! I understand Pocket Camp has a different earnings model and as such they have more new items, but players are bound to compare the two. I would love it if Nintento would release these items in NH as well (stringlights and tents!)

I completely forgot all the cool items PC has, but now I wish they were in New Horizons. Also, I heard they have earrings? It's been forever since I played because I spent all my money, but now I wanna get back on.
