Soooo I'm getting a second copy of New Leaf

Getting a second copy of new leaf. I do have 2 3ds's. any suggestions on what I can do with my second copy?

Resetting to get dreamies for you and other people is nice or do a themed town if you haven't already have one ^_^

You could get dreamies for people and be super rich in your game you already have!
But sometimes I just find it fun to have a second copy where I can just start the whole game over and have new friends!

My friend has an always-on community town, which is pretty cool. Just leave the game running 24/7 with the gates always open so anyone can come over to do anything they want (talk to strangers, drop off Katie, collect signatures when their other friends aren't on, display their designs, anonymous landscaping, etc.)

I think you should giveaway villagers! I also go through April fools to get villager pictures that i sell. ^_^ that's my way of making bells (because i'd rather give villagers away! )

Didn't you have anything in mind when you bought the second game?

I've two physical copies of the game and I borrow my Dad's 3DS whenever I want to trade between them. I used the second game as a 'giveaway/free for all' until I found a map I liked, now I've started using it to build a themed town whereas my main game is more random.

I have a downloaded copy of NL and I just ordered a cartridge. I LOVE the idea of having one town always open for friends to come and go. Thanks so much for the awesome idea! I have a nearly full list of friends, and though I'm sure they are all nice people, I would be devastated if my hybrids were lost. And you never know...

I have a second town and it has almost all of my dreamies on it! I love it, it gives me a chance to start over and pick my map this time, and do everything I couldn't do in my main town lol

awesome! I like the 24/7 community spot. I would love to do that with my 2nd town! Give away villagers, give away furniture, have parties, invite people over to help landscape, fruit for newbies, not sure what else you could do along those lines. I would probably start a theme town.

And if it were me I'd probably try to get dream villagers for my main town and other people, then settle on a nice map and make a themed town (basically what Tina did). c:

I am building 2 towns.

With your 2nd town jump ahead 4-6 months. Also, change the time to opposite of your first town. I would recommend 12 hours.

My first town is in real time and my second town is a week before Jingle Day. I am enjoying 2 different seasons.
