Sometimes I wish I never knew about Dreamies.

Hmm Tangy & Vesta were dreamies coming into the game, due to me having them in the GC one and Vesta in WW
but i agree, i miss the more natural days where i would accept anyone
this is why its good me having 2 towns.. i have my dreamies in Parfait, all my foodies, but then in Azalea ill accept anyone :)

Except rocket ;)

I try to avoid a dreamy list so I don't stress myself out, but if I get attached to a villager who is in my town, I hold on to them for awhile.

I don't have any dreamies, just villagers that I love more than others..
At the moment Ken and Victoria are my favourite in my town and I'll probably hold onto them for a long long time.
Otherwise I'm just going to let people move in as they please, get their picture and let them move out so most villagers will be around for a long time anyway.

With my new town it is my goal to love and befriend all 333 villagers and acquire all the pictures by befriending them and not buying them lol
I'm even going to turn my grimace into a smile when horrors like Canberra move in.

You are in control of how you feel. You can just stop any minute you want! It's awesome. It's this thing called self-restraint.

Do what you wanna' do! Don't stress comparing yourself over others.

I've always been picky -- well, not in WW -- but come NL, I was picky as hell. I didn't know what dreamies were but I knew there were villagers I hated and didn't want in my goddamn town. So I booted them. (Tipper, Poncho, Joey, Derwin, Graham, Hippeaux, Diva, the list is endless)

Dreamies are a curse and a blessing for me. A curse in the sense that I now have four copies and still have some straggler dreamies, and a blessing in the fact that I love them the most and have lots of favorites. The other curse is the utter paranoia of them asking to leave in my finished towns (or almost finished towns). Which they do, often. That's all I really consider to be anxiety-inducing about it. Since I bought four copies, however, I can house all of my dreamies when I settle down from cycling the fourth, I think.

But yeah. Even though I didn't know the term, I knew there were some that I wanted, and some I didn't. Getting in-depth with it was helpful and therapeutic for me even though it's stress-inducing. :p

Men I have dreamies, but I don't really go out of my way to achieve them, I just like cats. LoL I have Lolly and Bunnie and I love them to pieces. LoL And I'd like to get Cobb and Tabby because I had them on the GC version. Other than that I let my villagers come and go.

I had a few dreamies but I don't care anymore.

I simply don't care about villagers in general. They're all the same. I don't understand how villagers, like Marshal for example, get super popular when Beardo, O'Hare, Kidd, Curlos and Zell are the exact same. As long as a neighbor moves in a decent spot, they can stay for as long as they want.

...unless you're popular. Then get out so I can make millions.

well I will admit that when I first started my game (9th june 2013), I only dreamt about Genji (know this guy from ACWW and love him really much back then) so Genji and Julian (well unicorn is unique so I wanted him so bad) are the only villagers I bought back then. I was really lucky because I only paid a few (3-4) million for each of them. And I think I enjoyed my game more before because all people were nice and we all discovered the game together. Now, it is different. My sister bought the game as well and we both discovered cute villager thanks to dream town like Kabuki ....and now for her sake, I chased different villager and it was tough since people ask for million like 40/20 millions....so crazy. so I sold villager too to get money like Fauna but was not happy about it.

well I am nostalgic, I miss my old times and play only when DLC is out since my sister and I completed our dream town.
Sometimes, I play my game but feel something is missing. well it is life, I need another game like tomodaichi collection to connect again with people because there is no challenge anymore (museum completed, my 4 houses are real beauty lol). I like my town and my villagers of course but.....I don't know, something is missing.
