And it makes having to play every day a chore (note; that's how *I* feel). Yes, I understand the idea and all that behind it, but games are meant to be fun and relaxing, and stressing over a villager who might move isn't my definition of fun.And yes, I can check in every day for a few minutes, but when I'm playing another game (or just not playing anything, for whatever reason) I'm not thinking about AC:NL. So, yay, for being able to TT, I guess.

nah I sort of feel the same. I mean, I enjoy playing everyday. But I also enjoy doing other things. And if I feel like I have to STOP playing a game to check up on my town, or be like "time for bed!"..."oh but first gotta check my town for the day", well then like you said it stops being recreational and feels like I HAVE to do it.
IRL in a neighborhood, you can't build your house just anywhere. Nintendo needs to learn that.
Well my big issue with this system is that Nintendo made the game so that you more or less are planning out how you want your town to look, with the PWPs. That was the big selling point. YOUR TOWN YOUR WAY. Then they don't change the random house plots. "Plan your town how you want it, but don't get too comfortable!"
