Sometimes I hate this game

And it makes having to play every day a chore (note; that's how *I* feel). Yes, I understand the idea and all that behind it, but games are meant to be fun and relaxing, and stressing over a villager who might move isn't my definition of fun. :( And yes, I can check in every day for a few minutes, but when I'm playing another game (or just not playing anything, for whatever reason) I'm not thinking about AC:NL. So, yay, for being able to TT, I guess. ;)

nah I sort of feel the same. I mean, I enjoy playing everyday. But I also enjoy doing other things. And if I feel like I have to STOP playing a game to check up on my town, or be like "time for bed!"..."oh but first gotta check my town for the day", well then like you said it stops being recreational and feels like I HAVE to do it.

IRL in a neighborhood, you can't build your house just anywhere. Nintendo needs to learn that.

Well my big issue with this system is that Nintendo made the game so that you more or less are planning out how you want your town to look, with the PWPs. That was the big selling point. YOUR TOWN YOUR WAY. Then they don't change the random house plots. "Plan your town how you want it, but don't get too comfortable!"

Everyone has that moment where they "hate this game" but we keep going back playing more and enjoying it :)

This is basically what WoW became to me, and what a lot of games end up becoming to me. When I only had one copy it was less of a big deal. But I did this to myself, haha, I got the four copies and now I pay by having to check every single day lest my paranoia eat me alive. And now that today's a goddamn holiday nobody will ping and my paranoia meters are even higher >>;

Also agreeing with Hunahan. Sigh.

I hate how the game does that. They make a villager leave when you're not playing their game. *Keep play or die of sadness, mwjabjh*

I feel sorry for you! I lost my game cable and so I couldn't recharge my game. By the time I got a new one it was a week and a few days of it being unplayable. When I returned to my town I had lost my star player, my all time favorite and the only best buddy I had in the game! KID CAT! T_T
I am still very sad about this... I do have a couple of other townies that I like (Agent S, Nan, Wolfgang, Kody, Deirdre, Pudge) and a couple I tolerate (Bella, Tex) But none were so interactive as Kid cat seemed to be! He was constantly singing and talking to everyone in town. I got a lot of interaction from him and the other townies which makes it so sad that he has gone.

I hope you find some comfort somewhere! keep playing the game though because you never know where your next friendship will be coming from.

The only time i hate it is when my villagers move out.

But i have a burning passion for the fact we can't destroy our campsites BECAUSE I PUT IT IN A BAD SPOT TTT_TTT BWAH!

And when the little nook brothers keep getting the same.thing. In stock every two days.

Yep. I totally agree with what you said. The Mayor should be given more notice and not rely on gossip or a Ping before a villager moves. I hope the next ACNL will fix some of these anxiety creating situations. Glad you had a second town , but it's just not the same.

They could just freakin' PATCH this if they listened to us. But the secret is Nintendo doesn't actually care ahhahahaha
We have about 10 years before the next handheld version anyway. Wouldn't waste my breath.

This happened to me on Saturday. One of my favorites moved out without warning, even though I talked to her the day before she was in boxes.
