Considering New Horizons already adds three new flowers, sunflowers are pretty unlikely considering they don't really have many colour variation either, generally just different shades of yellow. Sunflowers are best suited as a furniture piece.

Bummer... well Sunflowers do come in oranges reds and yellows and two-tone. Maybe in the future.

Ah, I forgot to mention this but depending on how the new forum is structured when its transfered over to xenForo2, I will post a new thread on this topic for the discoveries we find on the morning on March 20th, when I get home from purchasing my copy of ACNH. I'll go into it more in that thread on what needs to be done by us, the community.
