These are things I think about sometimes:
Frogs don't use umbrellas when it rains. Understandable, they're amphibians after all. Except...how does Ribbot not rust!?
If we're gonna have NPCs that are the same species as villagers (Porter, Digby & Isabelle) then we ought to have raccoon(tanuki for Japan), giraffe, skunk, alpaca, tapir, owl, otter & axolotl villagers as well, to cover every NPC that can possibly be encountered daily in town.
Where are the lioness villagers? It's one thing to have an exclusively male villager species with bulls when you have cows as a female only counterpart, but why leave the lions hanging?
What do frog and octopus villagers think about the fact that there is a frog and an octopus in the museum? Have they ever asked for their own frog or octopus for their homes?
Now that I think about it, do octopus villagers use umbrellas when it rains? If so, that is all kinds of messed up. They're aquatic, after all. The fact that they're living on dry land is mind boggling. If I were a hacker I'd put their houses in the river or the ocean. Say, that would be a good twist for the next game: make it so the player can walk around underwater and put octopus houses there exclusively
These are just a few things. What weirdness do you think about when it comes to this game?
