So today I was dragged to this minor league baseball game even though I don't like baseball. The team was the Renegades, which somehow means that the mascot is a raccoon. XD So the game dragged on forever and went into extra innings and everything urgh.
But anyway today was Friday Fireworks night or whatever, and they were shooting a fireworks display right outside the stadium. I was all "how is this safe?" and my sister was like "oh, it is. =_="
And for some reason they were playing Christmas songs, but it was cute and everything was ducky, the fireworks were going really high up in the air and it was pretty nice.
But then all of a sudden one skids near the pitchers mound and blows up, but it's pretty far away from everyone. You'd think they'd have stopped, but they didn't. Not too much later, one shoots STRAIGHT into the crowd and JUST misses them, and exploded on the roof of the stadium (just missing the windows to the booth where the announcers were in). But the hot stuff fell right on the crowd below. I was pretty far away from it (it hit the center and I was all the way to the right) but I was really, really afraid that somebody got hurt. (luckily I don't think anybody did, because I didn't see anybody panicking.) There were over 4,000 people in the stands (the announcer told us earlier in the game), it really could have hurt a lot of people. =(
So yeah, I guess discuss scary stuff that's happened to you, or whatever.
