I can think of two things that aren't present here and I definitely won't miss:

Threads like "What date is _____ coming out?" and "______ must be released right away"

Anytime someone got an early heads up on when something was coming out you all knew it, but no one had a crystal ball to know exact dates of every VC release. That just never seemed to get through some of the posters head over on the Nsider boards. Also, no matter how much you love one particular game I don't think that flooding the boards was really proactive in getting that game released. If the big N wanted the input they would have hosted a poll or something.

Well, that's true, but only as long as people like ALBERT07 don't find out about this place.

Actually I thought 2sweetmike was worse. Maybe I just didnt have too many run-ins with this Albert. He spoken of as a plague of Biblical proportions.

I always forget about him, but when I think about it I went toe to toe with him once in a while... You're right, he was worse. Albert just posted more I think.

Albert had been pretty quiet for a while, actually. For a span of several weeks over the summer, though, he'd post a near unreadable message about how the games that just came out were terrible. Naturally he'd not played a single one and some of them were quite good. He was pretty irritating. You're right, though, 2sweetmike was no fun either.

Yea that's what most of us were worried about, too. While there may be 1 or 2 of those every once and a while, it's usually not in the state of a moronic person.

In addition to albert07 and 2sweetmike, josh_ztp could get really annoying with his weekly rant about not getting TMNT II. Oh, and there was a spammer called deadordreaming (or something like that) that showed me that the VC board didn't have a mod. He posted like 10-15 spam posts, and I think they stayed there for a whole day. They probably weren't even deleted, just moved with the new posts.

And of course, I'll never miss the usual: "what games came out today?", even when there was a thread in the first page every monday called "Wii-kly Update: X New Classic Games Added to Wii Shop Channel". <_<

Amen to that! The boards here at TBT seem to be very careful of no double posting. From what I've seen they are very well run and the members seem to be good folks. Although I think the sudden influx of old VC board transients took a bit of a toll on them!

Ah man, you know who was worst, AdroitOne. Man, all he did was complain and complain. Why isn't Neo Geo release? Why do we get crap like Super Metroid instead of Superman 64? Arrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh, I just wanted to slap the fool.

Oh man, don't get me started on him. Could he have been any more pathetic about all that NEO GEO talk? MAN!

|sf>When I was going back to the NSider forums and grabbing handles yesterday, I finally found a post by Albert07. What I thought was really foolish about him was he assumed that everyone agreed with him. He'd have a subject line with "X Stupid Releases Today" (with X being the number 2 or 3) and have a body with just the word 'topic.'

I have no idea whether he was a Turbographx basher or not, but I found it ironic that his only request for a game was Prince of Persia. With the Turbographx Super CD announcement, that means he will probably get his PoP: on Turbographx Super CD.

:D It will probably blow the socks off any other version of PoP that he's seen (I personally hate PoP, but the Super CD version is the best graphical version.) He might have an awakening that Turbographx isn't all bad.

Then again, maybe he's too immature to change.

Actually Safarisuz, the best graphical PoP is the 360 XBLA reimagining of the original game

:) All joking aside, you're absolutely right!

Ugh, yeah. I could never understand the venom with which he defended Earthbound with and sort of put down the other good RPGs. He did say he liked them eventually, but the way he supported Earthbound was just mind-boggling to me. Not that he liked it, that's fine, but the way he went about it was just wacky. Oh well!
Man, you didnt see the half of it though. When he started saying things about me in another thread that had nothing to do with earthbound, I PMed him saying sorry if I offended him in away and I didnt think there should be any negativity on the boards so we should both just leave the issue alone, he PM me first saying, "ok, thats fine i guess" (not anything like "sorry it was just as much his fault"), he goes right into another thread and starting saying I was wrong again and "stupid" for saying some of the things I said about the game.

That guys really ticted me off that day.

I just remembered, another immature kid that I won't miss is Nolnaj (or something like that), and his endless stream of posts about DKC; he always had a mouth full of bananas. I still don't know why he started bashing Smalls every time that he posted, telling him not to spam and stuff like that.

Oh yeah he was a treat. He'd pop up every once in a while, though I don't recall seeing him for some time.
