Same here. I played Zelda 2 when it first came out because I loved the original, but was really put off by the sequel. Never finished it back then. So when the Collector's Disc came out I figured I just had to beat it since it was the only Zelda I hadn't finished (excluding the CD-i "games").LegWinstonSmith said:Same thing with me, Zelda2 is a bad game, but I still actually played and beat it... twice (and that doesnt count the times I didnt play it all the way through), what can I say, Im a zelda geek.
|sf>How do you figure that "a lot of them are on NSider2"? The only named guy within this thread at NSider2 is Josh_ZTP and I've been very impressed by the improvement in his maturity level.yasuharu said:Ha... we should just start a list of people from Nsider who drove us crazy...
And then make sure they never find this place. A lot of them are on Nsider 2, but I keep coming back here because it's free of them...

Also, just because you disagree with someone doesn't automatically make them unpleasant. In fact, yesterday I found the person from VC NSider with whom I most often disagreed with and invited him to NSider2, because although we might not see eye to eye on many Turbographx games, he's an intelligent poster. Granted, I'm not going to invite him to TBT.

None of us meant that we didn't want the people who disagreed with us to find this place. We meant the spammers, and the people who relentlessly disagreed with us no matter what we said. And believe me, I switched sides on a couple of arguments on the old Nsider just to see what would happen. A couple of people still disagreed with me, but that meant that their old posts agreed with my new stance. So, the people we were referring to in this case were people who were just disagreeing with us without actually considering the topic we were discussing.SafariSuz said:|sf>How do you figure that "a lot of them are on NSider2"? |sf>BTW, the individual I mentioned previously (NEOVSSMITH) urned out to be someone with the same handle, but not the same person.yasuharu said:None of us meant that we didn't want the people who disagreed with us to find this place. Well, if you want then go ahead and tell them about NSider 2. Odds are they'll find it eventually no matter what you do, and I really don't see the harm in speeding up the process. Since you're unsure, though, I would suggest that you leave out any mention of TBT in your message.SafariSuz said:|sf>BTW, the individual I mentioned previously (NEOVSSMITH) urned out to be someone with the same handle, but not the same person.yasuharu said:None of us meant that we didn't want the people who disagreed with us to find this place. Well, I've finally bumped into the problem from above. I found the hiding places for shadowinfinity and wii_smashbors_fan. They aren't people who rubbed me the wrong way, but they're people who weren't on my "search" list. I did browse shadowinfinity's posts on this other forum and some of his posts there did rub me as being immature, with poor grammar and typing syntax. His VC NSider posts, though, seemed to be one sentence affairs with nothing stellar, yet nothing offensive. I didn't look for WSF in either manner.
Should I still e-mail them and invite them to NSider2 or should I just 'pretend' I didn't notice them? Are we trying to round up as many people and/or friends who we lost or just the responsible people that we lost?
|sf>Actually, in order to send PMs to most of these people, I have to get a 'membership' at the fly-by-night BBS. A few of these are interesting places I might return to at a later date.yasuharu said:Well, if you want then go ahead and tell them about NSider 2.
