Hi everyone! for about a month now i've been trying to build a bar in the back room of my house. Things up until this point have been going smoothly. So I snapped a couple of pics to show you what im working with at the moment (disregard the gold roses):

With that being said, here's what I need help on:
-Wallpaper
-Flooring
-Furniture
-Room size (this room hasn't been upgraded yet)
-Music (not important now, but will be needed later on)

I'm comfortable with the layout at the moment, but if you feel it needs to be changed, then don't hesitate to say so.

If you end up increasing the size, maybe do it once more? I feel like if you upgrade it to the maximum size, you may have too much space to work with. You should get a pool table (or 2) since I see those a lot in bars. :3

Well I guess it depends on how fancy you want it to seem. This is a great idea and you have some great stuff so far.

If you want like a night bar feel you could go with one of those night city skyline wallpapers. Or maybe a dark wood panel would suit the back-room feel??

The Skyline Wallpaper is already being used in my house. but I will consider the dark wood panel idea.

So a 6x6 (the second room upgrade size) would be a fit for this room right?

The neon sign would look good!

Hmm, I don't know...i'll get one and see how well it works

Maybe some card furniture? Also if you click here, there's a full list of all the wallpapers. Here's some picture of my bar, but it's in my side house that's suppose to be a log cabin. It's suppose to be more of a country kinda bar.

The pool table would be a good idea, and maybe some lava lamps?

Hm, refurbished red i assume? kinda wish i didn't sell one of mine.

thanks for the link. I see where you are going with it but i don't want it too big (mostly due to costs)

I like the idea of keeping the room relatively small so that it has a back room feel.

I saw one person use a wall of aurora screens in their nighttime bar, but I think that's too fancy for what you have in mind.

Consider a dartboard and maybe custom made signs, notices, listings, etc, or using some of K.K.`s albums on the wall. Like a poster for an opera!

The bright red on the stools contrasts a little too strangely (imo) with the mahogany of the gorgeous. It might just be me though, haha (colors show up weird on my monitor). It looks pretty neat so far though, gogogo

Also, if you`re looking for an alleyway bar feel, try a darker wall! White tends to make rooms look more spacious or big in general.

No, the color don't seem to match after looking at it. any suggestions on what stool to change it too?
