I think it's a new feature. I've never seen this happen in previous AC games. People will most likely overlook this feature because some people don't really check out the museum or collect dinosaur bones.

That’s pretty cool to know, I usually just sell all my bones I get that I can’t donate to Blathers.

Might try to get parts for T-Rex now though haha.

Yeah it's pretty spooky
