I have seen conflicting sources on this, and i want to ask to settle this.

Is it possible for the most recent move in to move out before anyone else?

I havent seen any confirmation, and its annoying.

I say it is possible, because it happened to me two times already. One time the last villager who moved in asked to move only some days later. I didn't treat him/her any different then the other villagers.

Could depend on what method you use to get the villager to move. I'd make a mule and use it to introduce itself to all the villagers except that one you don't want. Then it may ping you in a day or two for moving. I'm not sure if it's foolproof, but it's worth trying, even if it's your most recent move-in.

Ive already tried this twice. It didnt work

After a villager has moved in, one villager must ping to move first (you can say no), and then the newest move in can move

Thats interesting. Cube has asked 3 times, vic asked yesterday, jacques asked today.

Hopefully wendy will ping soon.

yes it is. I had my most recent move in ask me to leave, but after a few weeks to maybe a few months of no one else wanting to leave. So she was the first to ask since she moved in.

Thanks everyone

Cool fact i found while researching this: Giving a villager a present they dont like causes them to move out. While wendys birthday is a ways away, It at least explains tex's dissapearance.

I don't think you even need another ping. I had one person move in and ping to leave pretty much immediately. She unpacked, two days passed, she pinged to leave.

(...Was it something I said? :( )

It seems to be really rare for the last one to ask though, there must be some sort of stacking going on with friendship levels but otherwise it seems completely random. I think most of these "if you do X, villager will ping to leave" things are just confirmation bias.

I picked Croque up from the void & he was the next one to ask to move out. It was a stroke of luck though, every other new move in has taken forever to ask to leave.

PFF. I've had 50+ pings.. and Rodeo is still there ?_? I do believe it's possible but I'm one unlucky ******
