[Solved]Villager not moving in

So a friend of mine was kind enough to give me a free villager that I wanted, but I'm not seeing her in my town.
I've spoken to her while she was in boxes, and she agreed to move into my town. My friend then saved, and soon after I was Disconnected.
It's been more than 10 days since, no signs of the villager.

Any reasons why?
