Solo or friends?

i'm a blend of both. i prefer playing alone, unless i want to conduct business or hang out with buddies. the typing system is a lil tedious...

Alone now since I have more than one town and switch players a lot.
Before I kept my gate open in the afternoon for visitors to shop, sell or get petitions signed. Most of the time I left my player inside the train station. I did host a Pave Day since that town was months ahead. Ran around getting feathers to refill the plaza with feathers for the guests.

I go solo while playing Animal Crossing.
It's really hard to communicate with others,
and typing with a stylus (or finger coz I'm lazzzy) is super slow.
Plus, I don't really like to show others my messy side when my town is still a wip :p

Well lets say I first I started playing solo but then I got bored when I got almost everything completed like all shops unlocked, landscaping, decorating my house and getting my dreamie villagers. Soon after I started playing with friends to make it fun since what else you can do when you have a town that's almost complete?

I mostly play solo but I do trades and occasionally visit a friend's town online. I play locally with my husband frequently. I'm still developing my town so this may change later.

Alone. I would love for people to come over to my town and play but because of the timezones difference, it's really hard.

I mostly play alone and get my stuff Done but playing with others can be fun sometimes too c: getting to know others

I mostly play alone because it's a game that I pick up when I'm bored. I don't have a friend that plays ACNL (although I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to play since I bought him a 3DS, but he's too into Metal Gear right now to bother, ha) so it's a solo game for me!

At the moment I am trying to get my town to look amazing so I play alone but after I will probably play with friends :)

I usually play alone. I'm not that fast at typing on the 3ds and sometimes it can be awkward, and also I can landscape, work toward badges, and go to island and beetle hunt. Whenever I play with friends, it's usually for a few hours, and it's nice, but I just prefer to play alone because it's relaxing and I don't have to worry about anybody killing my flowers, ruining my town or doing something without my permission. I haven't played with friends in awhile! ^^

I play alone. I don't have any friends who play, and I'm not really into playing games with strangers. I worry about not being able to keep an eye on them in case they're running on grass, destroying flowers, etc. I also hate typing in the game - I'm so slow and make mistakes constantly, so communicating kind of sucks. I do enjoy seeing other people's towns and mayors when I go to pick up villagers though.

I used to play with two friends who I met here and trusted 110%. They would come to my town and roam free while I went about my daily routine. Or I would go to their town and visit their shops and interact with their villagers. I'm very old (compared to most of you!) and these 2 guys were my age or older. Their towns were great, they weren't just into collecting stuff and earning bells fast. That's where I met Marshall, in my friends town. I thought he was overrated but I really took a liking to him. And when my friends both stopped playing I knew I had to get Marshall in my town. Sometimes my villagers will talk about so and so, who was a pro-listening, or a bug whisperer and I go 'awwww'. I liked playing with other people and I miss that a lot.

Almost always alone. When you have a friend over, it's fun for a while but then you run out of things to do. There are only so many island tour games you can play before it gets repetitive. I'd love to hear suggestions on things to do with friends other than tours and catching bugs and fish.

alone because all i do is go on for a few minutes to check on my town and villagers. i occasionally visit my sister's town or she visits mine if one of us needs something (petition signing, item trading, etc)

I started playing this series in 2002, so I pretty much played alone. In Wild World I played with another for the first time at a table when we both learned we had DS systems and Wild World both on us. I later played online with other random people, but you never know. Because of the history of playing this so much alone for nearly 15 years, I've grown accustomed to playing alone, interacting with the animals, just like I had the prior 3 games before it.

I played on my own for so long... but it's waaaaay more fun with friends!! They can help you get your favourite villagers, items to fill your catalog, and just gush with you about silly things that only acnl peeps can understand! Such a fun multiplayer game ^_^
