Ok good. Yeah interestingly enough it happened to me when I was talking to Flora (who is also a peppy). I don't hack or anything, so I hope nothing else happens too!
Did you get a black error screen?
I kinda hope so because this means it's not just me, and it can likely be patched.
I was only in my game for a minute and I TOO was talking to Flora (weird?) I got a black error screen with an option to send a report to nintendo.
Mine is a physical copy.
Maybe there's something about those peppy villager's VA that's causing our game to crash (kidding). I'm sure your game will be fine!
For the record, I wasn't online when that happened (gates are closed) and I'm using a digital copy.

yes I got the black error screen too! It scared me so much but I'm glad to hear that it happened to you guys too and so far ur game is fine. I'm using a digital copy too, btw. My gates were also closed.
Mine's a physical copy and I'm really freaking out.

I've gotten that a few times, I don't hack or TT or do anything shady at all hahaha. My copy is a download. I didn't notice anything out of place when I reloaded, it was really just super annoying! Hopefully it's just an early bug that gets patched out.
