Soft TT to move out villagers

Nope I didn't ignore anything, I just don't believe it... I tried for hours and and gave up. If it actually worked then people would be doing it as opposed to going forward, weeks at a time...

I can confirm that the soft TT also works. Definitely more time consuming than the 15 day TT. Maybe you're doing something wrong?

I don;t think I was doing anything wrong. TT one day back, save, exit. TT current day, save ext. rinse, lather, repeat.

I went back and forward like 15 times (30 total) and nothing... I suppose the bubble would have eventually shown up but I gave up and did the forward way where you mark the date when the bubble shows and just return to it until you get the person you want gone..

Not sure why anyone would want to 'soft tt' 30, 40, 50 times when all you need to do is go forward a few times and be done..

I guess at this point It's been shown to work so I'll admit I was wrong. I guess I am still at a loss as to why anyone would bother doing it that way though..

I admit it's not a fast method, but it only took four tries for me, so it wasn't bad. The main question of this thread was does it work, not whether it is ideal. And that has now been answered so I'll close the thread.

I did one day forward one day back at first. It ended up being a big waste of time, tbh. I'd recommend going 15 days forward and then day by day until someone asks and then reversing if you don't want to go too far ahead. It takes a lot of time to go day by day and there's really no benefit to it since villagers don't just up and move without talking to you first. I understand not wanting to TT out of the month or season or whatever but 15 days usually isn't a big deal. You'll still get weeds and stuff and just waste a lot more time.
