today on acnl I got unlucky and started tripping every 5 steps or so~
so I thought I'd wear a lucky clover I found on the ground hoping that it would cure the curse but I'm still tripping :/
Your character tripping means that you're experiencing bad physical luck. If you have Katrina in your town, you can get your fortune told by her and she'll give you a lucky item. You can wear the item she recommends to ease the tripping a bit. If you don't have Katrina, try changing your character's outfit. You might end up easing your bad luck a bit. ^.^
I'm not honestly sure if the clover actually does anything to ease physical bad luck.
Honestly, it just sits there and looks cool, but if you bring it in your house it'll raise your HHA score cause it's a lucky item. But really sitting and looking cool is the clover's main thing.
The Lucky Clover does literally nothing, it does not affect your town status and it does not make you ''lucky'' even though it should. You can only use it for decoration purposes sadly, i like how it is placed on a book when you use it in your house though!
By the way if you are wondering, normal clovers also do not affect your town status in a bad OR good way.
Wow, so it does nothing? I guess like real good luck charms...
Still, I swore I read somewhere that it boosts your luck up one stage. So, from bad to normal and normal to good.
Am I thinking of something different? d:
