Sorry to jump on this thread, but I too am considering time travelling ... But to complete my rock garden as I can't stand having mannequins everywhere! My question is, can villagers move out if you don't acknowledge their "bubble" like in new leaf?

No they can’t move out unless you talk to them and basically tell them to.
Not that it matters much, but if I TT it’s usually only a day or two at most. I’ve discovered that if while TTing you see a villager with a thought bubble you can ignore it and go back to the present. They’ll still have that thought bubble and you can talk them out of moving. You can then TT forward to that same date and a villager will have another thought bubble.

Yup, as I'm sure you figured out this can happen! Villagers ask to move out based on your friendship level, and your friendship level with that villager must have been lower than all your other villagers, and thats why they asked to move out most often.

Yeah at first I thought it was like... A problem were I was closing the game too early/it wasn't saving properly but after about a week a different villager started asking and they also asked for like 5 days in a row XD I did eventually get it! Now Moe's moved out and Judy's moved in <3Yup, as I'm sure you figured out this can happen! One more thing tho- I heard that one way you can prevent the same villager from asking to move multiple days in a row is by asking Tom Nook to move their house, because while you have their plot in your pockets, they cannot ask to move out. I'm not quite sure how to do this exactly (like if you keep the plot in your pockets the whole time or ask to move their house everyday) but just thought I'd mention it incase you plan on doing this again and run into the same issue!
