So after talking it over with my husband and obsessing over whether or not we saw any lines in any of our other games (we didn't), I decided to take my chances and buy a digital copy of ACNL. After spending an hour on my knees in front of our DVR box to ensure there wasn't internet interference with the download because of an error message I kept getting, the game finally downloaded. Then spent about half an hour resetting before I found a map I really liked: Equal space on the top and bottom, not a ton of curves in the river, and tons of room to build stuff.Then I got off the train and found myself face to face with some of my least favorite villagers Tabby, who find I terrifying despite my somewhat obsessive love for cats, and Maelle who, admittedly, isn't horrible. She reminds me of the Ugly Duckling in the Chicken Little movie A LOT. I'd already decided I'd live with the bad villagers, though, because I loved the map. So after talking to Isabelle, I started clicking the other houses to see who else was living in town and then my heart, literally, stopped. Two of dreamies are living in my town as starters. They've been on my dreamie list since I first playing and joined this forum almost a year ago: Wolfgang and freaking Stitches!!!!!!!
And as if that weren't cool enough, I was walking around my village heading to the beach for seashells for Isabelle, when I noticed half of my beach didn't have an entrance ramp. So I have a private beach -- a HUGE one that doesn't suck and cut off an enormous portion of my map by creating some tiny cliff-like peninsula area!
Wow, I am so happy!
Sorry if it seems like I'm bragging because I know how much some of you guys wanted those villagers, but after everything I went through the past few days -- and not just with my old game -- I just had to tell someone.
