So my little cousin is visiting...

I showed her my island on ACNH, she absolutely loved it, and she gifted all my villagers a butterfly lol she felt they needed it. I hate that I can't just create a new island for her to do anything she wants, but it is actually pretty cute, she's happy and that's why I let her do it... But I would like to know the easiest ways to replace them, if they exist

So it's true that this works? I gifted to Julian two of one item by accident in a different colour, and would like him to have his Pisces Lamp back lol.

Okay now l understand. Just like others said, gift them the item that they had before and they will replace the butterfly. But l think there is a chance for them to replace something else if that's still a thing in NH.

Gift something to them that takes up the same amount of floor space so it has a higher chance of replacing the butterfly..
