Of course, you can participate in trades without a shop - but a shop is an easy way to lay out what you are looking for without having to look through individual threads!
My advice, having a DIY trade thread and trading frequently myself, would be to:
Try and look at other TBT shops established and see what elements you might like to have in your own shop (without plagiarizing them, of course!). If you're never run one before, it can be useful to see what rules other people have set, get an idea of pricing, and get an idea of how shops are organized.
Be clear about your rules and what you're looking for from the beginning. Adding a link to a wishlist if you're taking items, setting clear prices instead of asking for offers, or laying out all rules for how you want trades to happen in advance make things easier for you to manage but also make things clearer for your potential buyers.
On this, it's good to try and clearly organize your thread. Make it easy to read! If you have graphics design skills and can make nice images, that might help. Picking an easy font colour, playing with size/boldness/quotes, can also help!
Hey would anyone want to join for Celeste? I have her right now and have a few stars to wish for. Look on my page and look for my recent posts. If your interested, look on my page for more info!
Just a heads up - you can advertise that you have Celeste by going to either the Dodo Business Class thread or The Airport Thread. There, you can make a post.
