I joined yesterday. Nothing interesting happened so far except one person who was dressed like Zelda asked me for fruit then left when I told them I didn't have any. -_-

lol. I've been to CT three times already when I joined yesterday, I think you already know what happened to me the first time, but the second two times, all the other players that were there either said nothing to me (except for one guy, he said hi) or was AFK.

Yeah two people said hi to me. 4 people arrived and left since i've been here and they all said hi to me and Zelda asked for fruit. Currently someone who is dressed like Frankenstein is lurking near me and he has all the badges. -_-

You have to have the island unlocked, which unlocks after you pay off your first house loan. After the island is unlocked, go to the island. There is a white form on the table to the right of when you first come into the cabana after you arrive on the island. That's the form for Club Tortimer. It costs 50 medals. You get medals from doing tours. You have to talk to Kapp'n's wife who is the turtle(?) who is to the left of when first come into the cabana. She the one you talk to do tours.

If you ever see me on that island, be very careful: I tend to prank people by trapping them with pitfall seeds.
I'll keep that in mind if I see you show up lol. how do you bring pitfalls to the island? Don't you have to leave everything at home?

i've been on maybe twice. first time nothing happened and it was boring. the second time i met a kid named jonathan and we played a few tours together. he was really nice and said i had a beautiful name
Jonathan sounds nice. It's good to find nice people to play with. I need to go back before the day is over because there is a hibiscus plant I want to get that spawned in club tortimer that wasn't on my island alone. That's the other cool thing about CT. It spawns items that you don't have on your island.
Aww...I've never done tours with people in CT, I mostly just stand around and stare XD

i've had a lot of fun with people on tours. the only thing i can recall annoying me is sometimes on fishing tours some people will run up and cast their line at the fish youre already standing there trying to catch.
the lawmower one is a lot of fun, w/ganging up on that poor mower, its hilarious
the item-matching game is impossible with a group, just hopeless, you can only laugh at the chaos

Oh I forgot those had pitfalls. Well I'll definitely be doing that.
Man, it's been years since I've been on Club Tortimer. I always felt more comfortable going alone, but it might be fun to island-hop or do tours with people again. On the other hand, I've heard too many horror stories to count of people who'll hold you hostage or beg. Don't dress too nice!
Haha, I went recently to try to find an island item I was looking for and also fish for something specific. There were three other players and they were all standing around some flowers they placed awkwardly. Welp, I came out, got some tools, said hi, but went to go fish. One who also claimed to be "guarding the flowers" proceeded to interrogate why I was there if I was going to beetle farm or stand by the flowers with them lol. -___- Reminds me why I don't go often pretty fast...

I met a Japanese person at CT and they only spoke in Japanese (romaji).. luckily I got the gist of what they were saying and did a tour together! At the end of the tour they said something like "it was really fun!!!" (in Japanese ofc @__@), it was pretty cute

Most of the people on club tortimer I find just check the shop and leave after 2 seconds. Then I just see the load screen a bunch of times.

Yeah CT is only fun when you encounter neat people, and it's few and far in between now. The most excitement I've had there in a long while was a hacker who was doing the fainting animation when you get stung and teleporting around. He ended up killing the connection so it sucked wasting the 1000... I've met nice people in the past and exchanged FC's and stuff, even though now it's harder to.
from my experiences ct has been fun. i usually went on really late so i'd find people around my age and a lot of em are really nice to hang around with, day time is mostly boring with a lot of little kids begging for stuff. it's sometimes entertaining, though
