Not before you called them "kiddie" games.

Now that I'm back on my computer, let me give you the wall of text that I wanted to post before.

First of all, what does liking Wii Music have to do with anything? You may not like it (though I doubt you've ever even played it yourself), but I really enjoy it. It can be a lot of fun if you give it a chance. The fact that I like Wii Music doesn't mean that I love anything that Nintendo makes. As I've already stated, there are franchises that just don't appeal to me, such as Fire Emblem and F-Zero. But I genuinely do like Wii Music, because it's a really fun and interesting game.

And, again, you're never too old for video games. Mario, Zelda, Pok

M rated games are not the gory mess you make them out to be. They're rated MATURE because their stories go beyond saving a princess and are meant for a more mature audience, sure their is some blood and language, but that's what makes the stories more believable and realistic, just like movies. Get out of the damn little mushroom kingdom your in and give some other franchises a chance, I used to be just like you, I wouldn't touch anything not made by Nintendo. But then I turned 15 and just grew out of wanting to fling my arm around and play the same games I've been playing since I was 3. So I bought an Xbox, and I love it, couldn't be happier with the darker and more mature story lines I'm getting out of these games.
No, games aren't rated M just because they have a deeper story. Besides, there are plenty of T, E10+, and even E games that have very deep stories. M-rated games are rated such because they contain explicit content not suitable for younger kids. Calling it "Mature" is a bit misleading, really, because there's nothing "mature" about it. A better rating would be Explicit, or Restricted.

Of course, none of this will get through to your ignorant fanboy mind. It's funny that you call me a fanboy, when you're an even bigger, ignorant one yourself.

And about the laptop, I can't sell it, and can't really donate it, i'd be fun to smash, but I think I'm just gonna go ahead and store it, just in case I need a back up or something.

I'm a fanboy..... of what... exactly...? I'll play anything, just not PC because I don't really like the controls.

You clearly don't know a thing about any game rated above T. So I'm not even gonna bother with you.
Most obviously, you're a Call of Duty fanboy. And don't try to deny it, because you've made it very clear that you are. And you don't have to be a fanboy of a specific company. You can be a fanboy of a certain group of games, in your case, mostly FPS games.

And I don't have to play M-rated games to know the reason they're rated how they are. (Hint: It says why on the box.)

LOL what the *censored.3.0* dude, I don't even own a Call of Duty game. I haven't touched a CoD title in months. And FPS games? ahahahahaa, fail on your part dude, the only FPS I've touched in the last 2 months is Bioshock, which is simply an amazing title, with one of the most intriguing stories you'll ever come across in a video game. Other than Bioshock, I've been playing, Gears of War, Resident Evil 5, Limbo, Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassins Creed 1 and 2 and Alan Wake. All third person games...

Wow, goddammit kid, just looking at my recently played games, and realizing you've never touched them, you're missing out on SOOOOOO much being stuck in your own little Nintendo world.

Besides Alan Wake.

No, I wouldn't really want to see something so wasteful. Give it to charity, I'm sure they would welcome it, don't be so wasteful, unless you're going to recycle it of course =p
That has been said about 10 - 15 times in this thread.

For not even owning a Call of Duty game, you sure do like to hype Black Ops. I mean, just how many threads have you posted about it? Yeah, I thought so. I'm guessing the only reason why you don't own a Call of Duty game right now is because you sold the ones that you did own to make some money, right?

And I didn't mean to say FPS, I meant just "shooter", but whatever. You mostly like the typical violent, popular M-rated games. And that's fine and all, but then you go ahead and start bashing any game that you don't like, which really, really makes you look like an arrogant, ignorant fanboy.

There are plenty. Zelda games are a good example, and while their stories aren't overly complex, they have a nice balance of simple yet deep plots. And some titles are deeper than others, such as Twilight Princess. Anyway, then there's the whole Metroid franchise, with Other M coming soon, which is overflowing with story. And even cartoonish, comical games can have deep, indulging stories, such as the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series. They may not deal with dark themes and complex plots, but they certainly have captivating, emotion-filled stories. And don't even get me started on EarthBound/MOTHER.

All those things are nothing compared to bioshock, or MGS4.

This is an arguement you can't win.

Wow....there are TONS of games rated E-T that have great stories. I'm going to list a few, but I probably could go on all day...

I'll first mention Zelda. While the stories are by no means wonderful original masterpieces, and almost all the games have the same story, they are simple to understand for all video game players. Just read what Tyeforce posted. Another game with a good story is Okami. Shadow Collosus also had a good story, so did Mother, the Metal Gear Solid franchise, Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, Legend of Dragoon, The Secret of Mana, Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, ICO, The World Ends With You, and about all Final Fantasy games 7+.

Those games might not have blood and gore or extreme amounts of violence, but that doesn't mean they have bad, shallow stories.

I saw TWEWY and immediately had to agree with you.

Just because they're made for people that don't particularly like to bust heads, doesn't mean they aren't good, story-filled games, David.

Zelda has a decent story, but it's nothing compared to some M rated games. I personally like a good, deep and fulfilling storyline, I don't get that from the hollowed out storylines in the large majority in games rated lower than M.

Now I know nothing about Okami or Shadow Collosus, so I can't comment on those but the only ones out of that whole list you gave me that I agree with are Final Fantasy, The World Ends With You and Metal Gear Solid (and Metal Gear Solid is rated M, btw).

You get more out of the 'experience' of shadow of the colasus than the actual story.
