So if we time travel we cant get the bunny diys?

No you can't, because the event isn't tied to the season but the update it comes in. There is plenty people here on the forum or on discord and other platforms that are happy to sell or trade those recipes!

I thought you can still go to the event if you time travel backwards to the date it was taking place in. Is that untrue?

The game checks Nintendo's servers to decide whether or not you're eligible to take part in the event. So TT may not work in this case.

I have numerous duplicate DIYS for Bunny Day. If you put a list here of what you're missing, we will help you out. I can't speak for others, but I'd do so for free.

Probably not.. I want to reset again

You can, the people saying you can't are wrong. If you time travel back to between April 1st and April 12th, you can do the event just fine at the moment. Same goes for the cherry blossoms, you can still get them between April 1st and April 10th still. You just can't go forward to next year's Bunny Day event.

Everyone is making this assumption that it checks real world clock via the internet or something, but it doesn't. Maybe it does initially to get the event working, but after that it clearly doesn't matter.

I'm doing it right now, FYI, to get the last few recipes to avoid buying them for NMT from people, and it works fine. The actual Bunny Day event on the 12th still works, too.

That wasn't an assumption. That was confirmed by Nintendo. I think that's what triggered the "A" in 1.1.4a. Since our games are still on 1.1.4a, TT back as you've found still works.

In case anyone is curious where the "assumption" came from. Read the v1.1.1 patch notes.

I've snipped the section needed

To experience seasonal events, download Ver. 1.1.1, then start the software with the main unit connected to the Internet after the start of the event (real time) and set it to "Ver. 1.1.1a" is needed.

Just time travelled backwards, you can indeed still go back at the moment. And 1.14.a came out before the 12th, it was an update to fix the bunny day balloon spawn rates lmao.

thats to be able to participate in events. If you dont believe me travel to the 12th right now, just did it and it works.

Yes, but I am talking about "a" not 1.1.4. Please read the patch notes

I think it is an assumption. I've only seen Nintendo confirm you need internet to start the event (which I made clear, imo - it's even in the text you quoted from me). I was referring to people assuming you can't TT back to the event because it checks to make sure we're actually between April 1st and April 12th, which clearly isn't the case - maybe they'll patch it out of the game at some point, but at the moment you can still go back and do it now.

Confusion!!!!
I think the safest thing you can do, is just trade with other people. I've time travelled backwards to get my event items just fine, but right now we don't know if the event will end up being patched out of the game or what.

Ah, misread that sorry. But yeah, you can travel backwards. Maybe Nintendo is simply waiting for irl time to actually release the events but they stay in game once they are implemented?
