So I was thinking of getting a game

And I was looking around, and saw a lot of people have/like Fat Princess and LittleBigPlanet.
Well, I looked a them, and thought they looked random but fun.
However, I'm not sure if I can get both(probs not).Therefore, I'd like it if people could advise me as to which one to get, what the games are like etc. For example, "You should get LBP because..."

Do you have a lot of friends over PSN? If you do, LittleBigPlanet is the game you should get because Co-op is fun.

Yeah I use PSN, but only ever done FIFA and CoD =p
So LBP is fun you say? This is going to sound soooo ignorant, but what is the purpose of LBP, it has always confused me.

There is no point, unless you're the kind who will play a game only for trophies and never touch it again. You play levels created by other users, by yourself or with friends, that are sometimes really interesting. You can collect items through the story mode to make your own levels, or buy the packs online for other stuff.

You play levels created by other users, by yourself or with friends, that are sometimes really interesting. You can collect items through the story mode to make your own levels, or buy the packs online for other stuff.

From all of your experiences(if some of you have both) which game can keep you busy/enjoying it for longer?
Just because I've had experiences in the past where I've got a game and really regretted it *cough FIFA Street 3 cough*

Fat Princess is like a "capture the flag" game where you have two teams trying to rescue each other's princess in the other castle. There's classes like warrior and ranger that have different weapons. There's other modes like deathmatch and capture the base, but like I said it can get tiring after a while.
