Sigh, okay I have so many villagers I worked too hard to get. I am behind in a whole year (almost two) for my village. I wonder if someone claims they want to move out, should I then TT to this year?

Yes, you absolutely can do that safely. When someone claims to move out, and you deny it, and then you TT forward, you can TT as far as you want without losing someone because the game hasn't been able to choose another villager to move out yet.

Really?! Thank you! I'm going to try that right now because I don't want to wait so long~

to be safe you could TT first with your DS clock so that the game time becomes the time you want it to be (ie. if your game is a year behind, TT your DS a year forward) and start the game with a new character to check that your villagers are still there, and save. then you can change your DS clock back to the right time, and then manually change the time to the right time in game. hopefully that made sense!

I'll try this if this day doesn't yield a villager who wants to move

^^ Forgot to mention this. This is just to be on the safe side.

Should I do both or one or the other? (Freya wants to move and I'm saying no)

Doing it... Let's see how it turns out... *sets 3DS clock*

Alright...Opening AC and...making a New Character and...hrmm. I started with a new character and the date didn't change... Let me try to reset the 3DS clock again. I didn't really change the date.

Trying it again, this time changing the date and back on the 3DS clock

Okay starting new character and...what? Date not set again? Should I just start with my main character? I mean, I already denied Freya today. Maybe I should just change the 3DS clock to tomorrow this time?

You have to set the 3ds clock forward and open the game, basically setting your 3ds clock forward one day will just move the game forward one day, rather than the in-game date becoming the 3ds date.

and then when you set your 3ds clock back, it'll also set the in game clock back, but you can just change the in game clock to the real date and it won't count as time travel, since your game was last opened on that 'date'

I'm trying that although it's not really working when I boot up a new character

Ooooh I got this now! I see how it works

Basically it'll make equivalent changes. One month forward on the 3DS clock will be one month forward in Animal Crossing. If they're out of sync you just need to adjust the 3DS date until the Animal Crossing date is where you want it, and then you change the 3DS date back to the present and change the time using Isabelle so the two are back in sync.

Ah, good, you got it. :)

Oh, if you stand still for a minute you can see the date and time.

Well, not a full minute. More like a second, really. XD

The thing is, it don't tell you the year

I did it! It's up to date and everyone is still here~ Thank you so much~

Now to park a house on a pathway for two seconds ahaha

I almost had a heartattack when Isabelle said "It's been forever" but everything is still good

Again, thank you so much

Oh~ I figured you had already set it forward a year and so many months and were just fine tuning. XD Glad everything's all good now.
