But I'm kinda iffy to try it myself. Hoping other players have thought of this and tried it: Since you can't adjust the camera angle to see the backs of your cliffs, can you place inclines there leading to the private beach? I have a base plan for infrastructure on my island, but I'm always thinking of ways to increase/add on within the 8 bridges/8 inclines limit.

I'd definitely forego natural ramps for two sets of stairs leading to my private beach. If you can place inclines back there, that is.

Awesome. I'll just need to pick my staircase of choice, save my bells and decide what to do with the beach itself.

I found that if I shift the camera to the overhead, it makes it easier to see just where I was making my cuts for my stairs. It isn't perfect, but it did shift just enough for me to do what needed to be done.

That would be up on the right analog stick like when you're looking to the sky? Or downward?

Tilt downward so you're looking almost down on your character.
