So I finally decided to check out Club Tortimer

So.... I finally got over my fear of Club Tortimer, and checked it out for the first time. I went to international, and there was only one other person there, a girl. I was a little suspicious at first, cause she wanted to "trade". But it turned out to be ok. She traded her glasses for my blue ribbon, but then she didn't like how it looked and we traded back our stuff. lol Then, she wanted to trade shirts, and I'm like ok... I had a bubble tank, so it's not like it's a big loss. So we traded again, and she loved my bubble tank greatly. lol After catching some bugs, she wanted to do a tour, so we did. It was the bug hide and seek tour. But she didn't even participate; I was the one doing all the work, which kinda bugged me. I left after that 'cause I didn't know what else to do. ^^;

So that's my first CT experience. I guess it wasn't too bad after all.
Oh yeah, the person I was with was Anna from.... I want to say Loville, or something like that. But yeah, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

I'm still afraid to go with any actual intentions other than to sit around and mess with the trolls. I'd participate if asked by an actual, decent, player.

I've met a lot of really nice and friendly people on Club Tortimer :3 There are some jerky people that flick the wifi switch when you try to leave, or that constantly scare away bugs and fish you're trying to catch, but I feel like there are more nice people, and people minding their own business than rude people.

Island hopping is just where you go to an island to buy items then leave immediately after. You can also island hop to find an island with the right time of day for catching beetles (at night) or tanning (during the day).

No you don't have to open your gates. Do you have the club tortimer membership yet? You need to get 40 medals doing tours and than buy it. It's the paper with 2 other items for sale on your own island. When you come back you get the option of No one or others.
Pick other players. You get a choice of North America or International.

Another good thing about island hopping is the tours might be different. The tours change at midnight so if you live on the west coast you'll get the next day list earlier if it's a east coast player. Also some player have their towns set in different seasons.

Played the scavenger hunt 5 days in one week. Got a lot of medals.
