So how do I go about purchasing the Pikachu 3DS XL in America?

I'm going to buy it and leave it unopened until it is official no AC-3DS is coming out in America.

Soooo, how do I buy it from Target..? Do I camp out or what? How do I know they will have it?

I've been researching myself and it seems each store will probably only carry about 4, varying of course. I would call your local target and ask if they will be stocking it. Called my local target today and they will have a few

Also, If you have a Toys R' Us nearby, they would give you the lowest price for it.

Walmart $160
Everywhere else as far as I know $199 (gamestop and newegg/fry's for sure is 199)

Toys R Us, GameStop, Target and Walmart are the only stores carrying it here. So you may want to show up early and have to beat up some people for it.

I wonder why everyone's discounting the system so much. I mean... a $40 (target) and $50 (Toys R Us) price slash right out of the gate. Makes me wonder why?

Also makes me really hope the AC:NL system comes to America, and does the same. And for all you people just waiting to comment "I hate it, looks like a poptart tard, so ugly bla bla bla" ... I know already.

Also non-game related stores will sometimes hold items if you call ahead, so I'd give Target or Toys R Us a ring ahead of time and see if they can put your 1 out of 4 on reserve Or order it online. That's probably your best guarantee (minus the downside of shipping)

and I decided to preorder mine from Target online for 199 and plan to bring it in to my local target to price match it for the sale price
