I was off to do a delivery for Keaton, and when he went to give me a reward, he gave me a freaking bamboo shoot.
Is that crazy or what? Well now I have bamboo in my town before the first nook expansion!

It's so odd how luck works- I had a lucky couple of days that resulted in a persimmon (now three persimmon trees) , a snowglobe, an authentic painting, and a tanuki statue, and today it has been stuff like manhole covers and ugly t-shirts. Kind of exciting for such a young town.

I love how the luck changes day to day, too! I guess somedays I just get lucky and randomly choose an outfit with my daily lucky item included. Can't wait until I have more of a wardrobe and Katrina's permanent shop so that I can increase my luck on any day! I have gotten a persimmon from somebody - Tex! I didn't like him at first, but boy, do I love him now! xD I got my first bamboo shoot from an international player (Japanese, her name is Chika). Which is odd because since that one time I visited her town, she hasn't been online again! o_o Must've been my luck again!
