So do villagers just never come over to your house in this game or something?

I took a long break from the game up until recently, so my friendship levels with everyone suffered but I've gotten them pretty high now. They never ask to come over to my house though. That hasn't even happened once. They never want me to come over to their's either. I'm just wondering if the developers got rid of this function entirely? That would be super disappointing to me. I loved having them come over. I know I could recreate my house at Harv's island to take the pics for it but :/ its just not the same lol.

yeah sadly thats gone all they do is sometimes ask if u wanna do a treasure hunt or if u can deliver a package to them

This is one of my favorite features in NL that was sadly taken out of the game. I could imagine taking pictures of my villagers while inside my home. Now, you can only do that on Harv's which isn't really the real thing.

i hope it is, even tho it's a little bit weird that they will be like hey, let me visit your house sulky, they've added an update that we can visit your house now. lol idk why it was removed in the first place.

it did get just tiny annoying if they come so frequently when you're re-arranging furniture or they ask a visiting time and you have to schedule, but maybe just make it less frequent instead of removing it all.

yeah it got booted and it sucks...i miss having them come over and talk about how cool your stuff is even though it's not made me feel good about my home. though i do like they added the villagers can get sick feature again but it's not as fun if they can't visit you.

haha the locked door is a great idea.

and ikr, we visit them all the time and they can't even hang out with us in our homes. to think they keep gifting us furniture that they recommend for our houses that they'll never see the inside smh.

I use to hate it when villagers would come over while I was trying to decorate my house, and I would have to wait for them to leave to continue what I was doing, but now I actually miss it!!!! I don't care if I'm busy I just want them to come see my house hahaha

I don't know why they got rid of it. Obviously some people had issues with it. I was never caught trying to decorate my house, but there were times I'd go inside my house for a bit to grab something and then a villager would walk through the door. I felt bad trying to leave since they just came over.

I hated it so much in Wild World when they'd make me schedule a time and then I'd forget and get yelled at...
I think it needs to be where they ping you when walking around the island and ask if they can come over now.

i preferred this. i HATED schedules because they'd give a time where i should be done playing the game already. and if i set it at later time, i know i'd just forget it lol.

well hopefully they bring it back then. that's so annoying. that's one of those things that really grates on my nerves and makes me feel like the game was given to us incomplete. alongside the unpainted fences and missing gyroids. I really hope they think about improving "quality of life" features like that alongside all of the events and new characters in the updates.

I wish they’d visit too !! I literally stood in my house for half an hour at the beginning of the game but nobody came and I googled it to find it’s not a feature in this game
