so Celeste doesn’t re-appear after 2 days (?)

celeste obviously have no problem returning when you tt back just the night before, but i tried with my 2nd account to head back again & she doesn’t return anymore after 2 days has passed. either that, or the game forgets it once it hits saturday. this is the 2nd time this happened now.

can anyone confirm or deny this?

nope. like said just 2 days. and on both times this happened, only reached saturday.

the youtube video (i was watching to farm diy’s) specifically said in order for it to work you have to do it the next day, so maybe this is what he means. idk. seems like she’s not part of the weekly scheduled set, maybe she’s more like wisp.

It's possible if you had multiple showers in one week. But usually when I tt Celeste was always the same night that week. It's possible you might have missed her since she can be hard to find

i went around for almost an hour now
and i wasn’t doing just that, i was searching for gulliver parts too. idk why she refuses to spawn.

I've had the exact same problem. Ever since the update, Celeste has been completely f***ed imo. I tt'ed back to a shower in May to get the Taurus frags I missed as well as the bathtub DIY, and she was there once (figuring out that spawn was hell in and of itself. I've had like what, TEN showers in May and she did not show herself on any of these days except that one specifically). After tt'ing one day ahead to get the fragments, then back, she's suddenly just vanished. I thought I was going crazy lol

Now it's been about a week since I've tried that, and I've tt'ed back to July and resumed playing there, so I think I'm going to try and go back again to see if she'll show up now. Would definitely like to investigate her spawn rate further, because I honestly don't believe that they didn't mess with her in a way that differs from all the other visitors at this point

It's the same way with Redd, you can go back one day before and one day after, but usually after 2 days forward/back he will be gone and you will have to find another day with him. Makes sense it'd be the same for her too. Only way I've farmed her in the past is a friend would look for her then leave their switch on all night while I date skipped and talked to her etc.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure npcs reset if you time travel past a Sunday
