Here is your official snowflake tracker for TBT’s Season of Giving. With this interactive spreadsheet you can conveniently keep track of when new event rounds are due to launch, each activity you have completed, and how many snowflakes you will receive for your efforts. This should help you to plan your time and spending accordingly and minimise your chances of missing out on any precious snowflakes!
Please note that in order to avoid spoilers this spreadsheet does not record the amount of snowflakes received through the Advent Calendar.
How it Works
For each item you complete simply check the box and the "Snowflakes Entered For" and "Snowflakes Received" values will update automatically. You do not need to edit any other cells on the spreadsheet. However, if you do wish to record notes we have included a designated space for you to do so.
How to Access
You can access the spreadsheet by clicking here. When you first open the file you will see that you are unable to edit it. This is because the version you are looking at is intended as a blank template. You will first need to make a copy of the file before you are able to use it. The first option requires you to have a Google account, and is the option we would recommend, but options two and three do not require having a Google account.
(1) How to make a copy on your own Google Drive:
Go to File > Make a copy.
This will then create a copy of the whole spreadsheet on your own Google Drive that you will be able to edit yourself.
(2) How to print a physical copy:
Go to File > Print.
Tip: if you follow Option 1 first then you will be able to clear the "Snowflakes Entered For" and "Snowflakes Received" values in the spreadsheet before printing. That way you could fill in these fields yourself with a pencil. If you only care about having something you can physically tick off then you can disregard this advice.
(3) How to download a copy to your device:
Go to File > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).
We do not recommend this option because it is less visually appealing and requires a little more work on your end. However, if you still wish to do this then we would recommend downloading the Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file. This file format has been tested in both Microsoft Excel and Apple Numbers and this spreadsheet's formulae are confirmed to be working as intended in both of these programmes.
When you open up the file in Excel or Numbers you will see that all of the checkboxes have been replaced with the word “FALSE”. This is not an error. To mark off the activity you will need to select the cell, delete the word "FALSE", type in “TRUE”, and then hit enter. The 'Snowflakes Entered For' and 'Snowflakes Received' values will then update accordingly.
Hopefully this will help you all to stay on top of everything we have to offer in TBT's Season of Giving!
