Snowballs?!?!

So I can't find my second snowball, and I don't know whether it's because I've smashed too many or if it's because my town is quite crowded or if I'm just blind XD any advice?

I think that if you go into a building and come back out it should reset

That's what I've heard, too. They might be in a different spot, though.
