So I have a question… the time when it's possible to roll up snow balls to make snowmen is upon us and, last year, I collected all the bingo-obtained stuff and all the ice furniture. This year, I wanna try my hand at the stuff you get from snowtyke. But here's the thing… ever since last year, my town is now covered either by flowers or patterns, there's barely a free spot anywhere.

I'd like to know how that affects both the formation and the growth of snowballs. If I roll a snowball over flowers, will it grow? Will it shrink? Will it damage the flowers? If I roll a snowball over patterns, will it register the patterns as solid ground and make it shrink or does it ignore the paths altogether?

Thank you for the clarification!

From what I've read in a guide, as long as the snowball has spawned when it is rolled over a pattern that has grass underneath it it will grow as normal. This includes flowers as well, and as you probably guessed if you roll it over a pattern with stone underneath it, it will then shrink.

As long as you have enough room for the snowballs to spawn, you shouldn't have to worry. Though take note, wherever the snowman is formed you will LOSE the flower or pattern it gets created on. So don't put it on any special flowers! :p
