Snow or Sakura?

I want to create my dream address soon, but I can't decide if I want it to be snowing, or raining cherry blossoms..

If I decide to make it snow-themed, I'm going to change my house exterior and build the illuminated public works projects. If I decide to make it cherry blossom themed, I plan on replacing some of my fruit trees and plant a bunch of the regular trees that turn pink. Help me decide please !

I like Snow more because Ice is my favorite element, but I know Sakura (Sadly not Sakura Kasugano, who IMO is more attractive than Chun-Li and Cammy combined!) is going to win because everyone likes how pretty it is.

Sakura, definitely. Though both have their upsides the sakura trees are really pretty and calming.

I voted sakura because they're lovely! I wish they would last for a longer period of time. At least a couple of weeks would have been nice! But I have to say I loved loved loved the snow too. Especially the igloo! So cute at night, with an aurora overhead and snow falling. I built the campfire PWP too, and the winter nights were really cosy and cute. Hmm...I'm getting nostalgic, maybe I should have voted snow. XD

well both are very pretty! What is the rest of your town like?

Citalune for example is very pretty at night with the aurora and snow all around. It goes well with the look of their flowers and such giving the whole town a beautiful pale feel. Sakura would not be as good for that town..!

My town has a lot of pink flowers and pink residents, etc, and the town is called Sakura… so I will probably leave the Dream Address in sakura season for a little while.

I"M CURIOUS THOUGH- if you change your DA periodically,… are you planning to TT back to snow…? but then how will you keep playing? Or will you just TT carefully forward several months….??

I'm planning on letting mine mostly go through the seasons as I update it, however if I ever feel I am pretty much "done" with my town, I'll leave it in sakura time.

Sakura trees in the snow? I really love them both, but after a while with snow...I began to miss the green. The again, you could always set a DA, then TT back to wherever you want to be. It'd need updating occasionally though, so that's something to consider either or. Personally I'd pick the cherry blossoms, just so I could see some green. (Tired of winter, in-game and IRL.)

There are enough Sakura dream towns already :/ It'd be really refreshing to see a nicely done, peaceful, snow-themed town

Cherry blossoms blooming as an "event" in real life is a very Japanese thing, it's natural to call them sakura. Most of the time when people are talking about "cherry blossom" trees, they're talking about the Japanese type of tree (Prunus serrulata) not just any old ornamental fruit tree. If it was based in my hometown in South Carolina, it'd be the azalea blooming event.

Making it sound like using the word sakura is forced or weeaboo just isn't fair. I'm a weeaboo as are probably others here, but not for that reason.
