What are some Smash flaws that you have? When I say Smash flaws, I mean stuff that hinders your game play.
-For me, I'm kind of a Super Flash Brother aka I like to be flashy. Because of this, I end up racking up SD's more often than not. But sometimes, this play style can be successful.
eg:
It's more risk than reward, though.
-I'm also a very impatient Smasher. I just like to run up to opponents and wreck ****(especially as Ganon) as opposed to a slower more methodical approach. I feel if I was a bit more patient, my win rate would rise.
-Another thing I want to work on is grabs. If I were more successful with my grabs, I think would lead to more W's. I'll get a clean grab maybe 6 out of 10 times, but I don't think that's good enough. I also really want to incorporate more pummeling into my grabs as well. When I get a grab, I get a little nervous and will just put in a direction input real quick.
-Finally, I could use some good work on reading and shielding. I often find my opponents shielding better against me than me shielding against them.
I have a couple more, but those are the big ones.
Anyway, I whipped up this thread so you all can point out your Smash flaws and maybe get some advice from the TBT Smash community as well. It's always nice to get tips.
Feel free to post about specific character flaws as well. Maybe we can even get some practice rounds going too!
