because they are 40 year olds, who have no social skills, no friends, and there entire life revolves around this.... pity them, feel bad for their waste of existence, hope they have a come to jesus moment, and then use duck hunt and spam cans on them even if you aren't good with him
 
For Glory has been pissing me off too.... just people being the absolute worst, spam grabbers, people who just shoot me with bayonetta, bayonetta and corrin counter hoes, SO MANY LINKS SO MANY ARROWS SO MANY BOOMERANGS... and I'm sort of wishing Yoshis were extinct

however, I frequent Villager and Duck Hunt, so I know people hate me a lot of the time too

Yeah man, you're definitely not alone. Lately it feels like the douchebaggery in For Glory has tripled with both gameplay and insults. I get a lot of grab spammers or people who repeatedly do those tier by the book combos. I'd rather fight Villager or Duck Hunt than a lot of other characters. Villager is a pretty fair fighter so long as the user doesn't abuse the air slingshot attack which I haven't seen you do so you're fine.

I much prefer the turnips and reg A, or slingshot if I manage to get close or to keep them away from me when I recover....
and my duck hunt cans are nefarious, I don't see too many others try kicking them with light-side-a or down-a and thats my favorite to scramble people up

some people call this spamming, but I am so much better manipulating projectiles than taking advantage of quick aerials like you with Marth, I can't get near you most the time when I am falling back down to stage lol

Honestly, the Duck Hunt cans take skill to be so precise with so I don't see it being spammy at all. Especially since it's just one projectile headed your opponent's way. I'm not good at that kind of thing. I like to be up close and personal and pop those bubbles if I can. I'd just ignore the For Glory people, but I know it's not that easy since they piss me off with their insults even though I'm not doing anything to deserve them.
 
Question for those who consider themselves good at Smash, do you still have fun playing against people who aren't very? asking 4 a friend

lol but I mean, not people who like suck at the game (spammerz etc) but people who aren't that hard to beat. Do you prefer matches that are challenging?

I like playing against both easy and hard people. Even if I can still beat them easily, I like to try to do different things or adjust how I'm playing if that makes any sense.

Yes, I have fun playing with all kinds of opponents. (except spam newtons)
But anyway, it's fun playing against people "who aren't very" because I get to play more fun. Like, I could try a bunch of stuff that I wouldn't try against a tougher more serious opponent and it's still good exp. for me and for my opponent. I also get good KO footy too hehe.
 
hmm ok these r encouraging responses, I love Smash but I hardly get to play it so I never really get any better LOL and I was avoiding playing with people online cuz I already know most of them are better than me and I didn't want to like waste their time with my shenanigans. But if this is the case maybe I'll try playing here more often after all. B>

It's a good experience for a newbie to get used to losing a few battles to a somewhat good Smash player, it teaches them tricks and ways how their opponent and even how their character/s work, It's 3 positive things in one.

I have that relation with my Youtube friend who's also my teacher, he's been teaching me how to get better at the game and even he's surprised on how I've turned out, sure, I still have my problems, but if I continue fighting him, I'll be getting better each session.

Just don't be an effortless spammer and you'll actually achieve something in Smash other than disrespectful responses.

I met the biggest wuss Lucas I've ever fought in For Glory. PK Fire + Snake + Up-throw hexagon combo. He wouldn't let me near him at all.
 
Lucas' Up throw doesn't even combo into anything .-.
It's used for killing at pretty low percents

Well he did some kind of throw followed up by that air hexagon attack which he was able to trap me in twice every time with an additional headbutt.

hahaha yeah Lucas spammers are annoying! all they do is throw their snake at you and I can't help but feel gross whenever they do it............... and the amount of throws they try to do is obnoxious
