Smash Bros Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Discussion Thread

I've been using Ike since the game first came out both because I love Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and because his playstyle just felt the most fun to me.

I think the release of Cloud is going to make me have to choose a new main. I don't know how Ike fares against Cloud in optimal conditions with a skilled player (I suck), but I struggle to take even one stock from even the worst Clouds on For Glory. I got so frustrated after legitimately trying for a while earlier that whenever I encountered another Cloud, I'd just commit suicide as soon as possible and prayed that the next random opponent wouldn't be using Cloud.

I could just be overreacting, but again, I am not very skilled in comparison to a lot of people. Don't know who else to use because Ike was legitimately my best character, so this might be the end of my playing For Glory.
 
^ I fought a pro Ike earlier, they were amazing at countering Cloud (Not Down B, I mean like he read attacks easily) and he was really hard to take down.

I think Cloud is going to be the first DLC character I actually use. I played as him today for a bit and his moves are really unique and fun to hit. Plus I love swordsman characters.
 
I'd like to point out that Zelda was the only character nerfed in yesterday's patch (also Lucario but his nerf was something so small to something that didn't matter in the first place.)
Apparently Zelda wasn't terrible enough so she had to be even worse lol
 
Zelda nerfs, why? That's just as bad as the Greninja nerfing jokes months ago.

Also is it sad I've already made Blails and Bluckles Mii's to use for the Tails and Knuckles Mii fighter outfits? I mean, it's 2 months early and all...
 
I'm loving Cloud a ton man but his recovery is boogers and I keep thinking his down-b is a counter hahaha

Oh yeah! I can't unsee the iconic reference I knew for quite a long while. Can't help myself but chuckle at it.
Though, the original Final Fantasy VII was released since nearly two decades ago, so how would anyone else than the hardcore gamers believe this it's still spoiler-worthy remains to be a mystery.

I think what happened was that someone reported the picture as a spoiler just to be funny and, being Miiverse, the Admins immediately marked it as spoilers.
I'm just guessing since it wasn't my post or picture, I just found it while roaming the Internet.

Ah i am happy with Bayonetta honestly, it is so sad that the whole Smash fanbase is literally crying because they did not get what they wanted... Veeeeeeery mature i tell ya what!

Anyway, does anybody want to mess around with me for a bit? I want to test out some custom badge stuff because i never did that lol
 
Met the best Robin I ever fought today. I hate to admit it, but theirs is probably better than mine.

Also, **** Shiek. They're not even fun to fight.

You coulda just said you bought all of the DLC instead of writing a list worth 20 bells. I hope you have fun with it anyway, I haven't bought much of the DLC yet. I've only gotten lucas, ryu and mewtwo. I will be getting Bayonetta on release though.
